First Art Assignment!

So, here is a low quality scan of a picture I drew for Art 110. I'm pleased with the result in the sketchbook, but I am not happy with the scan. Oh well. Nothing is perfect.


I don't think the plate turned out terribly well in either the sketchbook or the scan, but it had really wonky curves around the edge that were difficult to draw by eye. Also, the cake needs more value, as does the inside of the bowl. Anyhow, this is the first. It is pretty much the only still life I have ever done.

    Man, I wished mine had turned out this good. I hated this assignment!
